First Baptist Church exists to glorify God by telling others about God's great gift of salvation and helping them grow in their faith through the love and grace demonstrated by God as revealed in the Bible.

First Baptist Church is an independent1, fundamental2, and evangelistic Baptist church, conducted in the manner which reflects the character of God and brings glory to Him. First Baptist Church relies completely on the Bible for its beliefs and practices. First Baptist Church is associate with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches , and the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches . These are fellowships of churches with the same doctrinal beliefs. 1 Independent: First Baptist Church is independent of all other entities. No hierarchy of persons or organizations determine the beliefs, practices, or rule of the church. All doctrine, decisions, and practices are determined solely by First Baptist Church's members. 2 Fundamental: First Baptist Church believes in basic doctrines of the inspiration of Scripture, the humanity and deity of Christ, the virgin birth, the literal and substitutionary death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and salvation by faith alone in Jesus' person and work.
Our Mission
The members of First Baptist church have a great love for God and for the people of the world. This is evident by their support for missions, personal testimonies, and godly lifestyles. It is our prayer that God will use us and this church to reach Freeland with the great news of God's grace and salvation.
